In most cases the couple want to have their precious day captured to video, but feel that having it done professionally is beyond what can been budgeted for. At Wiley's Productions our wedding videography begins at an unbeatable $399.00. In addition to very affordable videography, we also offer the customer numerous wedding video packages. A wedding video package includes a videography option and a post-production editing option. All of our event video packages are offered at a discounted price. Upon choosing a video package you will receive a discount from the total cost of the package that ranges from 10% to 25%.

The first thing you will need to do, is decide what you want for video coverage. Are you only interested in having the Ceremony covered, or perhaps the Ceremony and the reception? For those that want to make sure that nothing is missed you will want one of our complete wedding day packages. These packages include coverage of the bridal party preparing for the Ceremony, to the dance and everything in between. With one of these packages the videographer is with the couple for 12-14 hours and will collect upwards of 7 hours of video footage.

After the couple has decided on the type of video coverage they want, they then need to decide on the kind of editing they prefer. We offer three options for editing your video footage.

With our extremely affordable Basic post-production packages, the couple receives an unfinished product that is viewable on VHS tape or DVD. By unfinished product we mean there is no editing in this package. In order to keep the production costs down we simply convert the raw video footage to VHS tape or DVD.

The Standard post-production packages are completely finished professional video productions. You might be wondering why these packages cost more than the basic packages. Consider the fact that on average it takes six hours of editing from a single video source to produce one hour of finished product. That is a lot of time, but the final result is more than worth the effort.

Our Premium post-production packages are, as you may have guessed, the most expensive. They are also the finest video products available from Wiley's Productions. All Premium post-production packages start by using 2 (or more) video cameras to capture the event. The benefit from shooting with multiple cameras is that we are able to capture footage from more than one angle. Usually this means setting up one of the cameras very close to the primary subjects and the second camera further away. The cameras are at or close to opposite angles. The additional angle captures important action that would not have been possible using only one camera. Video footage from two sources offers the editor additional options for producing a more interesting finished product. Editing of this type of production is essentially identical to that for the standard post-production package. The big difference is in the time required to produce a finished product. Editing from a single video source will average 6 hours to produce one hour of finished product. Editing from two video sources requires on average 9 hours to produce one hour of finished product.

As you can see the costs add up quickly due to the extensive time required to produce a finished product. Is this package worth the extra cost? Our experience at Wiley's Productions indicates an unequivocal "yes".

Wiley's Productions understands that at the time of your wedding day, you may be unable to afford the standard or premium post-production packages. If Wiley's productions shoots your wedding video footage the bride and groom can select either of the post-production packages (complete with appropriate discount), when they can better afford it.
