Poster Prints:

As the name implies these are large poster sized prints of a digitized photograph. These are printed to Premium Luster Photo Paper. It is necessary that the source image is of a high enough quality and resolution that it does not look distorted, grainy or display digital artifacts when printed to a large surface. Sources for this type of print can be:

• 5+ Mega-pixel digital cameras
• Good quality photo prints
• Photo CD images
• Slides or negatives
  

Thick (10 mil) heavy weight, true professional photo paper. It isn't glossy but it does have a rich sheen when printed to. Photos display fully saturated colors on this paper.

Almost all images require some editing prior to printing to ensure the finished product is of the highest quality possible. At Wiley's, this photo preparation is included in the price structure of the print. Regardless of what you supply as source images for these prints, they will all have to be converted to digital format. Once all the images are in digital format we put them through a series of enhancement processes. These processes include resizing, cropping, restoration, sharpening, color correction and exposure correction. Once this has been completed the image(s) are ready to be processed for printing.
