Wiley's Digital Oil and Poster Prints to Canvas:
About the different types of prints: Digital Oil Prints - I
have developed a process that when applied to a digital photograph makes the image
appear to have been painted. The image is then printed to a canvas. The sources
for the photographs can be from a digital camera, photo prints, photo CD, slides,
or negatives. To fully appreciate a digital oil print you need to see one.
Poster Prints - As the name implies these are large poster sized prints
of a digitized photograph. It is necessary that the source image is of a high
enough quality and resolution that it does not look distorted, grainy or display
digital artifacts when printed to a large surface. Sources for this type of print
can be:
- 5+ Mega-pixel digital cameras
- Good quality photo prints
- Photo CD images
- Slides or negatives
About Canvas print media: This is an actual canvas product made
from 100% woven cotton fabric. It has a coating applied to it that is designed
for printing with Ink Jet printers. It can be stretched or mounted and framed.

About preparing your photos for printing:
Almost all images require some editing prior to printing to ensure the finished
product is of the highest quality possible. At Wiley's, this photo preparation
is included in the price structure of the print. Regardless of what you supply
as source images for these prints, they will all have to be converted to digital
format. Once all the images are in digital format we put them through a series
of enhancement processes. These processes include resizing, cropping, restoration,
sharpening, color correction and exposure correction. Once this has been completed
the image(s) are ready to be processed for printing.
